ISSUE THREE:  CITIZEN SERVICES

The Issue

Potholes, trash disposal, and tree maintenance are real issues in our community.  Effective communication of needed services is of paramount concern.  The citizens of our community need to speak to real people regarding their services and should expect results.

My Stance

An accountable government is an effective government.  When a citizen has a problem in our community, fast, attentive assistance should be readily available.  Our community should be able to talk to real people about real problems, and have the problem addressed.

The Future

• Take a comprehensive inventory of all potholes in the area and create a schedule of fill them
  
• Take a comprehensive inventory of all trees in the area and create a schedule to trim them
  
• Continue to provide top-notch waste disposal for our community
  
• Continue government wide training regarding customer service and attentiveness
  
• Hold regular town hall meetings regarding general and specific issues in the area
  
• Increase the circulation of the city newsletter
  
• KEEP THE PUBLIC INVOLVED IN THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS AT ALL TIMES
